These budget grade boxes are just as solid as our regular grade, but are just a bit "uglier". They'll have some larger knots, perhaps a visible gouge in the wood, a small crack, or things like that. They are still a very solid box with no holes, large cracks, and generally nothing that a couple coats of paint won't fix!
Ships unassembled. PLEASE NOTE: it is best to assemble these boxes very soon after receiving them. If the boxes sit too long unassembled, further wood drying/shrinkage can occur, which can make assembly difficult. Also, it is normal for the joints to be tight and require gentle hammering with a rubber mallet during assembly.

Rich Robinette Very impressed with the “budget” deeps. Very minimal knots, no splits or warps. The fingers fit together well. I’ve purchased higher grade equipment from other suppliers and had a much lower quality final product. I will be no doubt buying more.
