Very happy with this!

I like this so far. Have used it three times. I will say that i don’t think it works AS good as smoke, but probably about 85% as well. I struggle with smoke, have a sensitivity to it and wind up feeling miserable after hive inspections if i breathe any in, so this has been really great for me. I love that it is rechargeable and not batteries needed. It’s very easy to use. I would recommend this highly.

It works for me.

I live in an area where fire restrictions are a fact of life at times and I can't always use a traditional smoker. The Apisolis smoker is a great substitute and it works as intended. It allows me to calm my hives without the fear of escaping embers startibrush fire.

I’ve just gotten to use it once so far but it seems to work as advertised!

Apisolis learning curve

The Apisolis is a good idea but it has a learning curve.
The good:
1) the vapor doesn’t seem to bother my lungs like smoke does.
2) it’s convenient when you have hives in different locations
3) it’s easier to use than a smoker
The bad:
1) it doesn’t seem to be as effective as smoke
2) if you don’t use it for a few minutes you have to wake it up and then wait a minute until it heats up before you get more vapor.
3)It is not stable like a smoker when you set it down.
I think I would buy it again but it’s definitely not the be all- end all smoker replacement.

Very Useful

I have 20 colonies and used one all of last season. Works great if you travel to apiaries. No worries about transporting a hot smoker. Works great on the bees and is much better for the beekeeper. Buying a second one.
