Alot if the bees came dead but thats a post office deal. The good thing is the ones who were alive took to the box quickly and were not aggressive. My daughter loves her starter hive. Thanks

New bees

The journey for the packages took ten days through the USPS “RUSH LIVE BEES” system. Grateful that the install went smoothly and they are increasing in number! Definitely worth the travel risk. Thank You!

Russian bees

The bees arrived on time and the post office calked me immediately. I picked them up at 6am.
I couldn’t install them until the next day due to a previous commitment.
When I installed them one package had a layer of dead bees about one bee deep on the bottom. The other package had about half that many. I have never received packages with so few dead bees.
I did have to call and ask where the queen was because I didn’t see the little tab holding her container lol. They have been installed for a week now so I’ll inspect them as soon as the weather cooperates.
I think I like the Bee Bus packages better than the wood ones but they are a PITA to separate. A small inconvenience for a great product.

A have no problem with Hill Bee Co, The Coy supplier shorted me on the Bee Quantity. I have been keeping bees for over 60 years. The quantity 0f bees in the cage was more like 2 lbs not 3.
