Hive Butler Uncapping Tank

Good product, can use for swarms or extraction of honey, uncapping.

This is so much better than uncapping over a bucket ! I don't have to bend over as much and can uncap several frames and let them hang in tank while waiting for the extractor. This has helped me be more efficient in the process of uncapping, extracting, and bottling. Wish I got one sooner.

Solid product, just as advertised. Worked great for my honey harvest. Ordering and shipping were right on time.

I can see where it might be fine to collect frames from a hive if you only have a few hives. As an uncapping tank it really isn't that great. The opening from the top to the bottom chamber is to small. Then there are the channels or impressions in the top tank around the edge that collect honey and never allow it to leak into the bottom tank. Also uncapping wax sometimes collects around the edge of the screen and lifts it up so wax is now running into the bottom tank. I have pictures to show how this happens. I really wanted to like it because of the sturdy structure and also the sections that the frames sit in. Unfortunately, I really feel I wasted my money because I solely wanted it for uncapping and I don't like it for the reasons stated.
