omg!!! creamed honey sales are through the roof. We made a test 5 gallon batch first, then a 200 pound batch and now 300# as we sell out of creamed honey each week! I need the bees to make more honey. thank you for another quality product!! Next I need to upgrade my radial extractor for next year!!
This creamer is amazing! Our creamed honey turns out so incredible - super smooth and creamy. We will never go back to doing it any other way! We are so thankful for this machine!
My first batch and I knew I made a great purchase. It's the smoothest creamed honey I've ever made. One reviewer talked about it scratching the surface it sits on, that's true the bottom is rough and kinda sharp. That can be buffed off. I kept the heavy foam it was sitting on from the shipping box to use like a matt. I cut a notch for the spout and it's great I can slide it on my table no issues. Wish I could post pics with this review. The creamer is for large batches and my first batch was just right above the bottom mixing paddle. In turn some of my seed did not get mixed. I felt it needed a lower paddle but its not adjustable. I have since bought new stainless steel dinner ware forks and attached them freely moving to the bottom paddle. These will freely rake along the bottom and should break up any seed sitting below the bottom paddle. I love the 15 on 45 off and the set it and forget it vs doing it manually... I have several Hillco products and I love them all! Plus excellent customer service...
I just recently bought this honey creamer at the 2024 Honey Bee Expo. Let me tell you I couldn't be more pleased. The finished product is outstanding. This machine could not be more simple to use. Easy clean up and it does most of the work. The cream honey is selling so fast it will pay for itself with the first batch. Just another great product from John and HillCo, LLC. Thank you for making great products at affordable prices. Also for your outstanding customer service.
I bought this creamer four months ago and made my first five gallon batch of creamed honey. It's a high quality machine and I would definitely recommend it. I did not give it a five star rating for three reasons which do not have any impact on its ability to make creamed honey. First, the inverter makes a high pitched whine/buzzing noise which can become annoying if you are in the same room as the machine. I think the inverter housing is partly the cause of the buzzing sound. Second, the base of the tank has a sharp metal edge which I fixed using PVC metal edge trim guard. If you don't have the edge guard you just need to be careful what surface you set the tank on so as not to scratch it. Third, the honey gate has an O-ring seal that catches on the metal gate if it's opened too far. I think they have addressed this issue with a nylon gasket. This is still a great tank for the price!
