7 Gallon Heated Bottling Tank

You've asked for it, and we've delivered! A more compact, economically priced, heated bottling tank.

This tank is simply beautiful, and does a wonderful job heating and dispensing honey! It features a double-walled tank with an outer layer of water that is heated to the temperature you choose. The water surrounds the honey, heating the honey gently and evenly.

The tank comes standard with our fantastic dripless honey valve, to speed up your bottling process and provide a nice clean, fast shut-off of honey.

These honey bottler tanks drain like no other! The tank floor slopes towards the drain, which is welded and flush-mounted inside for a complete honey drain. Additionally, the drain is mounted level with the tank floor, to make sure that all the honey gets out with minimal mess and fuss!

7 gallon honey capacity

500w heating element

110v power

Digital heater controller offers precise, consistent settings that are easy to adjust. The digital screen also features an accurate thermometer.

Temp range - 50 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit

3 Year Warranty

Dimensions: Tank is 22.25" tall, and 14" diameter. Overall width including heating element is about 20". Holds about 3.25 gallons of purified spring water or 3 gallons of mineral oil in the outer jacket (this measurement is factoring in the expansion of the oil when heated).

PLEASE NOTE: The lids of these bottling tanks often have some scratches on them. It doesn't affect functionality but is a slight cosmetic flaw.

Awesome product worth a look!

Not long ago the smallest bottling tank on the market was twice this size. I don't produce a lot of honey (250-400#) and in order to make things efficient, I'd wait until the end of the season to start filling that large tank. The smaller size of this tank means that I can bottle even 3-4 gallons at a time, and I can capture the unique flavor and color of smaller flows. The smaller footprint means it's easier to store and maneuver from a weight standpoint. There are a lot of nice touches like a lid that stays firmly fastened with a rim (not the case with other bottling tanks) and a ball valve for draining the water or oil. I'm very happy with this as with all Hillco products.

A few bits of advice - they thoughtfully include a wrench for assembly but to really tighten things down, a ratchet set and adjustable wrench really make things handy. The ball valve for draining is awesome but it's too easy to inadvertently turn the knob when you are trying to tighten the valve, thereby getting mineral oil all over oneself and the floor (ask me how I know). I recommend buying a 1/2" NPT hex plug to insert, it is cheap insurance. Also, when you assemble the bottling valve, it helps if you place the tank on its back so gravity works in your favor. So do that before you put water/oil in the tank. I found that this takes about 3.25 gallons of mineral oil.

All in all, a great product from Hillco and a game changer for smaller producers...

Great addition to my honey process

Great addition to my honey process. Tons better than a 5 gallon bucket with a honey gate. Quality built piece of equipment. Well worth the investment.

Well made and worth every penny.

We bought this about 1 year ago to be able to infuse honey, to make hot honey, cinnamon and other types of infused honey. Perfect for that!

Great quality

Great quality, but there should be a fitted sieve at the top for draining the contents of vessels transferred into the bottling tank. Also, there was no manual or instruction for the heater element controls.
