Melt down that old junk brood comb in this high quality solar wax melter! This melter will last for years and years in your bee yard and look great doing it.
Simply scrape off and place old wax or comb into the tray, and the sun does the work for you! The wax collects in a small metal tray below.

Please add a groove in the support arm to accommodate a hair pin/R-clip. The support bar keeps walking out when moving the solar melter.
I bought this at the EMBC in February and man do I love this melter. I had been using a crockpot and you have to remember to keep an eye on it because you could catch your wax on fire. This you set it in the yard fill it with your wax cappings and forget about. When you remember you had put a batch of wax in you go over and blame your beautiful rendered wax. Hard to believe a paper towel can filter wax so clean. Thanks John
